The illegal rave on a military domain in Sint-Truiden, Belgium, is still going on, and it’s getting busier. According to the authorities, it is too dangerous to stop the party, to the frustration of local residents.
According to the responsible governor, there are at least ten thousand partygoers on the site on Sunday afternoon. Due to the increasing crowds, the local police have been reinforced by the federal police and the army.
The rave started around 11 p.m. on Friday and caused a lot of nuisance, according to local residents. For example, residents complain about the loud music, a penetrating weed smell and access roads that are full of cars.
Police officers have already handed out tickets for, among other things, violations of the drug law. But the party still goes on.
