Washington, passenger plane crashes into military helicopter: search for survivors underway

According to the FAA, the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration, the collision happened in midair with a Sikorsky H-60 helicopter while the passenger plane—capable of carrying just over 60 travelers—was aligned for landing on runway 33. Donald Trump has been informed of the incident in Washington, according to White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt, who emphasized that the president will continue to monitor the situation.
