The largest extradition of drug traffickers in the last 10 years comes amid the tariff war, threatened by Trump due to the lack of action against drug trafficking and illegal immigration. Rafael Caro Quintero, 72, one of the founders of the bloodthirsty Guadalajara cartel, is believed to be behind the 1985 murder of DEA agent Enrique “Kiki” Camarena. He was arrested in 2022 after years on the run and was on the FBI’s list of the 10 most wanted criminals.
