A youth has been arrested after a 14-year-old boy was stabbed during a street robbery in Deventer on Saturday evening.
The victim was attacked by a group of people on Nico Bolkensteinlaan at around 8.15pm, local media channel Oost reported.
He was was rushed to hospital for emergency surgery after receiving a serious stab wound. His condition has not been disclosed.
Police later said an underage boy had been arrested in connection with the robbery. The victim, from Apeldoorn, had a number of items stolen.
Police have appealed for witnesses to come forward and share any photos or video footage that they have of the incident.
